Mrs. Fred [Mary Pollyanna Webb] Mull Expires at Home in Jersey City Saturday of Leakage of Heart.
FOUR CHILDREN SURVIVE
Mrs. Polly Mull, wife of Fred Mull, died at her home in Jersey City Saturday morning at ten o'clock of leakage of the heart and other complications at the age of seventy-nine years. She would have been had she lived until August 3.
Mrs. Mull was born and reared in Walker township six miles southwest of here and lived in that neighborhood all of her life, until twenty years ago, when she and Mr. Mull moved to Jersey City. Mrs. Mull was a member of the Main Street Christian church, which she joined thirty-six years ago when the Rev. Mr. Farrell was pastor there.
Mrs. Mull is survived by her husband, four children, twenty grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one brother, Isaac Webb. The children are: Mrs. [Alma] C. C. Cotton of Manilla, L.A. [Larue A.] Mull of Dunreith and Mrs. Laura Mahan and Bert Mull of near Rushville. One child [Dora] died at the age of three years. The funeral will be held at the home Monday morning at ten o'clock by the Rev. C. M. Yecum.

Frederick Mull was born in Rush County, IN, February 4, 1833, being the fifth in a family of seven children born to Frederick and Jane (McDonald) Mull, the former a native of VA, and the latter a native of Ohio. Our subject received a good education, and until twenty-three years of age, assisted his father on the farm.
In 1865, Mr. Mull removed to Kansas, and there remained until January 11, 1866, when he returned to Rush County, where he has since lived. He has 270 acres of valuable land and a beautiful residence.
The marriage of Mr. Mull was solemnized December 18, 1856, to Miss Polly [Mary Pollyanna Webb], daughter of Cuthberth [Cuthbert] and Hannah (Knotts) Webb, natives of Ohio, and who are now deceased. Ms. Mull was born in this county, August 8, 1830, and is the mother of these five children: Laura, born Nov. 25, 1857; Alma, born August 27, 1859; Dora, born July 2, 1862 and died October 19, 1865; Larue A., born May 20, 1864; Bert, born September 21, 1867.
Mr. Mull is a Democrat, and a member of Manilla Lodge No. 34, F. & A.M. He and wife are members of the Christian Church.
